Killjoys! I need your help to spread this news: This is from MyNameIsEmmet’s diary in DeviantArt. On May 31, 2008, hundreds of killjoys got together for the band; The Sun Tines, a British newspaper, had published that their music made a girl commit suicide. Today we know it is false, but I think it’s time to give them a proper tribute. In “The Kids From Yesterday” video, they thank us, but I thin…k they’ve got it backwards. It’s us who thanks them. On May 31 we’ll show them how much we care! My Chemical Romance have given the world innovative & inspiring phrases. We want you to print those phrases in bright colorful paper. Hang them in the lockers. Paste them in the bathrooms. Write them on your arms & in Starbuck’s chalkboards. Put them in the principal’s office. Publish them on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr & any other place as much as you can. This year, in may 31, we will all say THANK YOU! Not by showering the band with love, but publishing their phrases & helping with their true mission: saving lives. Now I’m asking: Are you with me?
